“ We went to Kings fish and chips in Raleigh for the first time today. Was a pure spur of the moment decision when we saw their 10.95 lunch time offer for cod and chips with a buttered roll and a hot drink on a board outside. All the staff were really friendly and welcoming it was a really nice clean traditional style restaurant. I chose to upgrade and order Skate and chips off of the main menu for 13.95 The waitress was really helpful and polite. The food arrived very quickly and despite it being a special offer my wife was delighted with her cod and chips it was a good sized portion of fish which was pure white, flakey and delicious. The chips were delicious and it was presented with a salad dressing. My Skate was really tasty and very well cooked with thin crispy batter. Not at all greasy. All the food was piping hot and nicely presented. All in all very impressed with the meal and the staff, great food at a great price. Will definitely use again. ”

“ We came to King's today. We were a party of 5 people, with 2 of us in wheelchairs. We hadn't booked in advance and as it was busy, they asked if we could come back in 15-20 minutes time so they could get 2 tables together for us. We did come back, and the two women that served us were so friendly, courteous and helpful. Throughout the whole meal they were chatty and friendly with everyone, and the food was lovely. It was a real pleasure to eat here, made much better by the friendliness and helpfulness of all the staff. We will definitely come back here. Thank you for making our lunch so lovely. ”
